Position Statement on flash glucose monitoring
The CCGs have now adopted NHS England's guidance on Flash Glucose Monitoring: National arrangements for funding of relevant diabetes patients. The March 2019 Brighton Area Prescribing Committee agreed to fund in line with Annex A: Criteria for NHS England Flash Glucose Monitoring Reimbursement
This replaces the CCGs' local position statement issued in November 2017.
Flash Glucose Monitoring remains as Specialist Initiation only.
